Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data Furified ("we", "us") collects when you use the Furified iOS app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept this short on purpose — Furified collects very little.
What we collect
- Apple ID identifier. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque user identifier provided by Apple. We do not receive your real name or email address (Apple's "Hide My Email" relay is supported).
- Pet photos you upload. Photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and are not stored on our servers. Once we receive Claude's response, the photo bytes are discarded from server memory.
- Furify history. The text descriptions, match names, ratings, and tags Claude generates for your pets are stored in our database so you can revisit prior results.
- Usage state. Credit balance, free uses remaining, and aggregate share counts — needed to operate the credit system.
What we do not collect
- Your real name, email address, phone number, or location.
- Your pet photos beyond the moment of analysis.
- Contacts, calendar, microphone, or other device data.
- Advertising identifiers. Furified does not show ads and does not participate in third-party ad tracking.
Third parties we share data with
Children
Furified is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Delete your account and data. Email support@furified.app with the Apple ID identifier shown in the app's Settings screen. We'll delete your record and furify history within 30 days.
- Stop using the app. Uninstalling Furified halts all data collection. To delete server-side data after uninstalling, email us at the address above.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post a notice in the app before the new version takes effect.
